Artistic Director - March Star of the Month

The TramShed members are working incredibly hard during our creative programme. Every week they are achieving great things and giving workshops their all to create inclusive theatre. We would like to highlight some of the wonderful achievements by giving a special award to one member every month. This also gives us a lovely opportunity to share more about our members and the important work that goes on at TramShed.

William Swainson

This month, the Artistic Director ‘Star of the Month’ goes to William Swainson.

William is a member of our Children’s Theatre and loves attending TramShed. This term, we have been working on our next inclusive adventure, which will debut in July 2026. We have challenged William with some exciting new musical numbers and asked him to take on a principal lead with his wonderful singing.

This is a brand new challenge for William and something he has never done before. Every week he is working incredibly hard to learn lyrics, blocking and perfect his singing. The team are in total agreement that his determination, focus and hard work make him our star of the month.

Well done William! We can’t wait to see you perform in July!
