Artistic Director - February Star of the Month

The TramShed members are working incredibly hard during our creative programme. Every week they are achieving great things and giving workshops their all to create inclusive theatre. We would like to highlight some of the wonderful achievements by giving a special award to one member every month. This also gives us a lovely opportunity to share more about our members and the important work that goes on at TramShed.

Daniel Paintin

This month, the Artistic Director ‘Star of the Month’ goes to Daniel Paintin. Daniel has been a member at TramShed for almost 19 years. Throughout that time, he has spent most of his membership within the Adult Company, but most recently, moved to one of our new age groups - North Pier.

Within the last six weeks, TramShed have worked incredibly hard on our devising process. Workshops have taken place weekly across every age group to discuss new ideas, share thoughts, explore new creative material and try out those ideas using different art forms, for our next inclusive adventure in July 2026. Daniel has been exceptional. He has shared so many ideas, talked to the group about how things could be staged and giving 100% commitment to the process. He also always works so inclusively and shares his experience with his peers.

The Artistic Team are all very impressed with Daniel’s contributions and congratulate him on such a fantastic few weeks in his new group.
