Artistic Director - December Star of the Month

The TramShed members are working incredibly hard during our creative programme. Every week they are achieving great things and giving workshops their all to create inclusive theatre. We would like to highlight some of the wonderful achievements by giving a special award to one member every month. This also gives us a lovely opportunity to share more about our members and the important work that goes on at TramShed.

Jax Williams

This month, the Artistic Director ‘Star of the Month’ goes to Jax Williams. Jax is a member of our Children’s Theatre. In September, he was cast as a principal in Danny's Dream - taking on the huge role of Danny.

Throughout the past three months, Jax has learnt an incredible amount of lines, new dances, taken on a solo for the very first time and been challenged artistically in every way possible. Even the most experienced professionals would find this a true test, but not Jax. He took it all in his stride, was composed, focussed and determined.

During show week he was full of energy and so excited to perform at Blackpool Sixth Form. He has wowed our audiences with his talent and shone brightly with his TramShed family.

And if all that wasn’t enough, he is one of the nicest children you could ever wish to work with, a credit to everyone who knows him.

Well done Jax, you have absolutely smashed this challenge out of the park. Mr Braithwaite and the whole TramShed team are so very proud of you.
